What can I do if Equifax said they mailed my dispute results, but I never got them?

Georgey Porgey asked:

I just checked the status of my Equifax credit dispute and the status says Mailed as of the 11th, but I never received an email notification or link to my results as others have mentioned. Are they just sending me information in the mail or do I need to contact them?
Also, would it show up on my free credit report now that I am viewing if they made any changes?

How many employees does Experian have to process disputes by computer?

jocular2005 asked:

I heard it is done by computer. I heard they have 4.5 million credit report updates for people each year. So I was thinking about it and wondering how employess are there that handle the disputes only.
Odd question…. I know.

Will my credit scores allow me to get a mortgage at a goord rate?

samide2001 asked:

My question is will I be able to get a mortgage with good rates with the scores I have now?

I am 23 and my credit scores are: 582 Trans Union, 552 Experian, and 545 Equifax.

I have a number of medical bills that went to collection while I was in colllege. I have been paying those medical bills back a little at a time (I have a payment plan with the collection agency). And have two 30 days late (almost a year ago) on my car loan, and a 60 days late on a student loan.
I recently applied for a new secured credit card (which I hope to receive any day) and have been listed as an authorized user on my cousin’s credit card. My cousin has had her credit card for 2 yeas and has never been late.

I am currently working with a law firm that has actually gotten 6 items deleted from the three reports. So, my scores are a little better than they were.

I just feel that it is not right to be punished for getting sick (I had cancer) and not having insurance.
My current scores are 559 TransUnion, 618 Experian, and 557 Equifax.

The reason the Experian score is so much higher is that a new revolving account (my cousin’s credit card) has reflected on that report. I am expecting the credit card to reflect on the other reports soon.

If the other scores jump anything like the Experian score, I expect the others to be around 610.

Why is Equifax not reporting my information of credit history?

bamagrits84 asked:

I got my first credit card in June of 2006. My payments have never been late. Every 30 days the credit card company reports account status to all 3 major credit reporting agencies. Transunion and Experian both are showing my account correctly, but Equifax is not showing it at all! I had to pay Equifax $20 for my credit report just to try to dispute it and now I get a bunch of crap for the customer service center. I know my credit card company is reporting my info. In fact just yesterday they did another report to Equifax and Equifax is still saying they have no record of the account. I’m really upset over this mess and I want an investigation by FTC and possibly the Attorney General for the state for the Equifax corporate office. What would you do? What is the best way to get immediate action?

blkchestnut asked:

a Bill Collection Agency and on my credit report reads judgment satisfied. It’s almost like the same accounts are on my credit report twice for the charge offs and for the judgments. I was able to get one judgment off of my trans union i just need to get that off of the other two credit agencies. I hope I didn’t’ confuse you!!

What can help me get approved for a student credit card?

scu frosh asked:

I recently got declined for the reasons below which is from an online letter. what can i do different?

“Your consumer credit bureau score from Trans Union is too low (See below)

Amount of annual income listed on the application is insufficient or missing.

High utilization of credit lines or insufficient utilization information (Trans Union)

Your consumer credit bureau score mentioned above was determined using a scoring system that evaluated the information in your file at the consumer reporting agency named above. The following are the primary factors in your credit report that affected your credit bureau score:

Length of time accounts have been established.

Proportion of loan balances to loan amounts is too high.

Lack of recent revolving account information.

Too few accounts currently paid as agreed. ”
